Travel to the beautiful island of Corsica, France
The island of Corsica is located in the Mediterranean Sea separated from Sardinia by a short stretch of the Strait of Bonifacio, crossed by a large mountain range rich in forests, marking the border between its western part, the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Ligurian Sea.
Politically it belongs to France even if it has deep historical ties with Italy also in the linguistic and cultural field, nowadays it is an important tourist destination for its natural beauty and its history, here in Ajaccio was born on August 15, 1769 Napoleon Bonaparte, French politician and general, founder of the first French Empire, his birthplace can be visited in Ajaccio.
Corsica is nicknamed "the Island of Beauty" and rightly so, from North to South it offers tourists an incredible variety of landscapes, its six Nature Reserves amounting to 83,500 hectares of wild nature, its heavenly beaches, its enchanting hills, its high mountains among which Mount Cinto stands out, the highest at 2706 m. all this together with a remarkable cultural heritage and traditions and last but not least its cuisine, its traditional dish called Aziminu (fish soup prepared with lobster and seafood), the various types of cured meats such as prisuttu, lonzu, coppa and the famous figatellu (delicious sausage made from pork liver) the typical cheeses and its sweets such as pastizzu, falculelle, cacavellu and many others, in short Corsica is a wonderful destination, rich in history, peaceful but full of surprises immersed in its immense natural heritage, it deserves an in-depth visit, for my part I hope to return, Thank you for reading me, Kind regards

Viaggio nella bellissima Isola di Corsica, Francia
L' Isola di Corsica si trova nel Mare Mediterraneo separata dalla Sardegna da un breve tratto delle Bocche di Bonifacio, attraversata da una grande catena montuosa ricca di foreste, segnando il confine tra la sua parte Occidentale, il Mare Tirreno e il Mare Ligure.
Politicamente appartiene alla Francia anche se ha profondi legami storici con l'Italia anche nel campo linguistico e culturale, ai giorni nostri è una importante meta turistica per le sue bellezze naturali e la sua storia, quì ad Ajaccio nacque il 15 Agosto 1769 Napoleone Bonaparte, politico e generale Francese, fondatore del primo Impero Francese, visitabile la sua casa natale ad Ajaccio.
La Corsica è soprannominata " l'Isola della Bellezza" e non a torto, da Nord a Sud offre al turista una varietà di paesaggi incredibile, le sue 6 Riserve Naturali pari a 83500 ettari, la sua natura selvaggia, le sue spiagge paradisiache, le sue colline incantate, le sue alte montagne tra i quali spicca il monte Cinto il più alto 2706 m. il tutto insieme ad un patrimonio culturale e di tradizioni notevole e non per ultimo la sua cucina, il suo piatto tradizionale chiamato Aziminu (zuppa di pesce preparata con aragosta e frutti di mare), i vari tipi di salumi come il prisuttu, il lonzu, la coppa e il celebre figatellu ( deliziosa salciccia a base di fegato di maiale) i tipici formaggi e i suoi dolci come il pastizzu, le falculelle, il cacavellu e tanti altri, insomma la Corsica e una meta stupenda, ricca di storia, tranquilla ma ricca di sorprese immersi nel suo immenso patrimonio naturale, merita una visita approfondita, da parte mia spero di ritornarci, Grazie per leggermi, Cari Saluti
